    The department of S & H is actively engaged in different contemporary research activity. It is a home for one research center (Centre of Excellence for Advanced Materials, Manufacturing, Processing and Characterization, CoExAMMPC), three Chemistry research labs and two Physics research labs where faculty members and the graduate pursue both intra- and interdisciplinary research.

  • 1. Chemistry Lab:
    A chemistry research lab capable of carrying out research in basic and applied chemistry was established in an area of 90.58 sq.mts. at H-Block VGF-09. Additionally two more research labs namely Biofortification lab (ATF-02) and Polymer Composite Lab (PCL Lab) are being modified to pursue basic and applied research in the different areas of chemistry.
  • 2. Physics Lab:
    A physics research lab which is helpful to develop thin films under controlled conditions and thus to the study of optical and electrical properties of thin films was established in an area of 78.59 sq.mts. at U-Block ASF-01.
