Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Title Description
PEO 1 Graduates will have a strong foundation in Chemical Engineering principles, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to analyze, design, and optimize chemical processes in industries and allied sectors.
PEO 2 Graduates will engage in advanced studies, research, innovation by practicing sustainable and green technologies, process safety for overall betterment of the society
PEO 3 Graduates will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, lifelong learning along with leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, to meet the evolving demands of industries, entrepreneurship, and multidisciplinary challenges

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

Title Description
PSO 1 Applying the core knowledge of unit operations and processes for providing solutions to complex engineering problems in chemical and allied industries
PSO 2 Analyze the techno economic feasibility of chemical processes and equipment using the concepts of heat, mass and momentum transfer, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, process control for sustainable development.
PSO 3 Develop mathematical models of the chemical processes to simulate and/or optimize and/or design.

PO 4 Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems - Use research-based methods to design experiments and analyze data.
PO 5 Modern Tool Usage - Create and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools.
PO 6 The Engineer and Society - Apply reasoning to assess societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues.
PO 7 Environment and Sustainability - Understand the impact of professional solutions in societal and environmental contexts.
PO 8 Ethics - Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities.
PO 9 Individual and Team Work - Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams.
PO 10 Communication - Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and society.
