Student Outcomes (SOs)

Title Description
SO 1 Apply fundamental principles of electronics and communication engineering to solve real-world problems.
SO 2 Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic test equipment and software tools for circuit design and analysis.
SO 3 Contribute to the development and testing of electronic circuits and communication systems.
SO 4 Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and systems.
SO 5 Adapt to evolving technologies in the field of electronics and communication and pursue lifelong learning.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Title Description
PEO 1 To provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of electronics and communications engineering, including circuit analysis, signal processing, and digital systems.
PEO 2 To enhance student's critical thinking abilities and develop their analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills through practical and in-house training.
PEO 3 To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge electronics and communications technologies and tools, enabling them to pursue diverse career opportunities
PEO 4 To deliver a strong academic, technical, and intellectual foundation that prepares students to pursue higher studies effectively.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

Title Description
PSO 1 Be able to apply the fundamental concepts of electronics and communications engineering to design a variety of components and systems for applications including signal processing, image processing, communication, networking, embedded systems, VLSI and control system.
PSO 2 Be able to select and apply cutting-edge engineering hardware and software tools to solve complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems.
PSO 3 Be able to continue learning and adapting to new technologies in the field of electronics and communications engineering.

PO 1 Basic and Discipline Knowledge: Apply mathematics, science, and electronics fundamentals to solve engineering problems.
PO 2 Problem Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot electronics and communication systems.
PO 3 Electronics System Design: Design, assemble, and maintain electronic circuits, embedded systems, and communication systems to meet specified requirements.
PO 4 Modern Electronics Tools: Use simulation software, PCB design tools, communication analyzers, and testing instruments effectively.
PO 5 Experimentation and Testing: Conduct experiments on electronic devices and communication systems, analyze results, and draw valid conclusions.
PO 6 Society, Sustainability, and Environment: Apply engineering practices considering safety, societal, environmental, and sustainability issues.
