The Department of CSE is accredited by ABET for six years (2024-2030) and by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for two cycles (2020-2023 and 2023-2026). The department is fertile with several developments, enriched with all the good practices of academia.

It hosts the following three programs:
  • B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
  • M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering


  • Skill and knowledge are born with qualification and experience. They are tempered by motivation and empathy and are conspicuous in the CSE faculty, which scales the department into a distinct class. The faculty's holistic academic and research experience directly impacts the production of well-rounded, industry-ready students with the necessary skills and the desired attitude.
  • CSE students are habituated to participating in Coding Hackathons on various platforms, including CodeChef and HackerRank, etc. The department's placement record is impressively progressive, with 87% in 2022-23 and 92% in 2023-24, maintaining an average placement of 85%. Top MNCs and high-profile companies at the national level, such as TCS, Accenture, HCL, Deloitte, IBM, Amazon, Darwin Box, L&T Technology Services, Cognizant, and many more, have been our recruiting partners.
  • Over 250+ research publications in the thrust areas of Computing, including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and others, have been indexed by Scopus, SCI/E in the last five years. More than 80+ Ph.D. Scholars are registered in the Ph.D. program, and over 20+ Ph.D.s have been awarded in the last three years.
  • Every year, 10% of students undergo higher education at globally recognized institutions, including IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cornell University, and the University of Washington.
  • The department aims to create an intense teaching and research environment that transforms students into innovative, responsible, ethical, and technologically adept individuals.

YEAR 1: Establishing Computing fundamentals The foundations of engineering will be laid through basic sciences and engineering courses such as engineering mathematics, physics, engineering drawing, engineering electronics and electrical engineering, and graphics, among others.
