Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (VFSTR) Deemed to be University, recognized as a top-tier institution, stands as a premier center for Science and Engineering education in India. Established in the year 2008 by Shri Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, it is situated amidst the tranquil surroundings of Vadlamudi on the Guntur – Tenali highway in Andhra Pradesh state. With a student body exceeding 10,000 and a faculty of 650 members, VFSTR offers a diverse array of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Science, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Law.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at VFSTR has been bolstered by a diverse and capable faculty team, all possessing impressive academic and research backgrounds. Within the department, a range of exceptional degree programs are available, including B.Sc. programs in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Actuarial Science and Data Science, as well as an integrated five-year M.Sc. program in Data Science. Additionally, there are offerings such as B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. + M.Tech. Dual Degree program in Data Science and a Doctoral program encompassing various research areas in pure and applied mathematics, mathematical statistics and applied statistics. Serving as a vital component across undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels, our department is supported by highly qualified and motivated faculty members who continually enhance their expertise through participation in national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. This ongoing professional development ensures they remain adept in classroom instruction and well-equipped to address the evolving needs and challenges of our students.
ABOUT ICETMSC'24
The primary goal of the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Mathematics and Scientific Computing (ICETMSC'24) is to establish a leading global platform where Mathematicians, Statisticians, Computer Engineers and Industrial Experts convene to share their latest advancements, achievements and innovations in Mathematics, Computational Mathematics and Computer Science. Through presentations and discussions, the conference aims to address current developments and challenges, preparing for potential future directions.
At its core, the conference aims to advance both pure and applied mathematics in conjunction with computer science, fostering scientific and educational endeavors. It features keynote speeches, invited talks from distinguished speakers both domestic and international and presentations from attendees.
Additionally, the conference provides a valuable opportunity for burgeoning researchers and students to interact with prominent figures in mathematics and computer science.
