A facility for clonal propagation is equipped with sterile environments, such as laminar flow hoods, to prevent contamination.

A facility with a Clean Room for cell culturing ensures a sterile environment with strict control over air quality, temperature, humidity, and particle count.
Workstation for Biomolecular Modeling and Metagenomics
A facility with a Dell workstation for molecular modeling and simulation equipped with high-performance hardware
Facility for spirulina cultivation
A lab for spirulina cultivation is equipped with controlled systems for growing algae in culture trays.
Our Research Facilities
The Department of Biotechnology have a clean room for cell culture, a fermentation facility, and biogas unit, algae cultivation facility providing students with hands-on learning experiences in biotechnology and sustainable bioresourse utilization. They engage in bioremediation and microbial technology projects to tackle environmental challenges and develop bio-products. The medicinal plant garden promotes the study of therapeutic plants, merging biotechnology with traditional approaches to enhance plant-based drug development for pharmaceutical applications. Furthermore, well-equipped computer workstations support bioinformatics research with focus on drug design and biological data analysis.
