The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) will be responsible for addressing all complaints made by victims and ensuring timely resolution of these complaints in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.

GSCASH
The Gender Sensitization Committee Against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) at Vignan is dedicated to fostering a gender-sensitive environment and addressing instances of sexual harassment. Established as per UGC guidelines on July 23, 2015, VFSTR’s GSCASH-IICC is chaired by Dr. N. Usha Rani, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on June 14, 2016. Our committee is committed to creating awareness and ensuring a safe and respectful campus for all.

Sexual harassment, as defined in the Visakha judgment upheld by the Supreme Court and adopted by VFSTR University, encompasses any unwelcome sexually-oriented behaviour, whether direct or implied. This includes physical contact, advances, requests for sexual favours, sexually suggestive remarks, displaying pornography, and other inappropriate physical, verbal, or non-verbal actions of a sexual nature.
