Assessments
Teaching-Learning and Assessment should go hand in hand and complement each other. Continuous assessment plays a vital role to enable the student to get synchronized with the teaching-learning process. Assessment mechanism adopted in the institute is aimed at testing the learning outcomes in tune with the outcome based model of education. The focus, is thus on assessing whether the outcomes are realized by the end of the course.

Assessment Registrations

It is mandatory for the all students to inform the institution their willingness for attending the summative assessments in the form of registering by paying a stipulated fee. The guidelines for registration are part of the assessment notification and give the details of registration fee to be paid, dates of fee payment and mode of payment. For students who are enrolled for the courses during the regular semester, assessment registration is integrated with the course registration. Students who are registering for supplementary assessments need to follow the specific registration guidelines as outlined in the assessment notification. There is no need to register for formative assessments.

Results

The assessment results are organized under three main headers, reflecting the different components of the assessment scheme. Here’s an overview of each category and the result access process:

1. Formative Assessment Marks: This section provides marks for each individual formative assessment tool, allowing students to see their performance on these specific assessments.

2. Finalized Formative Assessment Marks: This section displays the finalized marks for formative assessments, adjusted as per the relevant program’s assessment scheme.

3. Final Results: This section shows the overall result for each subject, which combines scores from both formative and summative assessments.

Release and Access to Results

• Timeline: Final results are typically released within two weeks following the last scheduled test date, as per the assessment timetable.

• Access: Students can view their results by selecting the relevant assessment link and entering their registered number.

This structured format provides transparency and a clear breakdown of students' performance in each component of their assessments.
