Industry sponsored projects are also being executed for companies The department is dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical research and fostering innovation, preparing students for success in both industry and academia. Specialized research areas such as Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutical Formulation, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and AI & ML in Healthcare expose students to cutting-edge pharmaceutical science. These research clusters aim to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges and improve public health. Through hands-on research, students gain experience in drug formulation, drug stability, bioinformatics, and pharmaceutical analytics, while promoting innovation in areas like personalized medicine, advanced drug delivery, and AI in drug discovery. Our Research Facilities
The Department boasts well-equipped laboratories in basic sciences and pharmacy, enabling students to effectively grasp classroom concepts through hands-on experiments designed for comprehensive understanding. Advanced experiments offer insights into the latest developments in pharmacy and allied sciences. The computer laboratory features state-of-the-art computers, while the pharmacy labs include essential equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry across various stages of production, quality control, and packaging, such as tableting machines, coating pans, bottle filling machines, and quality control instruments like FTIR, DSC, gas chromatography, and HPLC (Shimadzu). Additionally, the research laboratory is outfitted with advanced instruments, including rotary evaporators, tablet punching machines, Brookfield viscometers, centrifuges, Electrolab tablet density testers, gel electrophoresis equipment, and more, ensuring students gain practical experience with modern technology.
