MBA

MBA programme is designed to develop aspiring managers who can manage organizations competitively. With a specially developed, industry accepted, and career oriented curriculum, this programme will develop holistic, social leaders, not just management professionals. The programme aims to develop entrepreneurs who can establish and manage their enterprises in most effective manner. Scholarships are offered every year for meritorious students.

MCA

MCA is a unique multi-utility two-year post-graduate program. It is a good option for non-technical graduates of any discipline who have basic knowledge of mathematics. It is an extremely balanced course, emphasizing the design and implementation of commercial applications and software. The curriculum is designed on the foundation of concepts that are driven by real-world practices which are duly covered in the first year of the program. The second year is engaging in the sense that it provides avenues for developing special skills and gaining knowledge in various sub-areas, gives a hands-on approach through well-guided project works, and also provides the much-needed flexibility in selecting courses that suit individual students.

Eligibility criteria for admission

Eligibility for admission into MBA Programme:
Category-A
55% in any Bachelor's Degree with CMAT Score above 130, ICET Rank below 25,000 / MAT score above 500 / Min. 70% in CAT (OR) 60% in B.Tech
Category-B
Minimum 50% in any Bachelor's Degree

Eligibility for admission into MCA Programme:
A pass in BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) / equivalent degree OR A pass in B.Sc.with Mathematics at 10+2 level. Obtained at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

Note: Candidates appearing for qualifying examination and awaiting results can also apply.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION INTO MBA / MCA

The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the result obtained in I-CET conducted in AP & Telangana, provided if he/she gets the required minimum marks in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria. Admissions will be purely on merit and by following the reservation policy applicable to Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University).

A common merit list will be prepared based on the performance in I-CET and eligible candidates will be called for the counseling to be held at the Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) premises at Vadlamudi, Guntur District, A.P.

It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission. Having been called for the written test/counseling does not necessarily mean acceptance of the eligibility/admission.

The admission offered to a candidate who has been provisionally admitted to the programme will stand cancelled if he/she does not submit the relevant documents in original pertaining to admission(such as Marks Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate etc.) to the Dean-Admissions before the date stipulated in the admission offer.

Admissions to the programme will, however, be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the candidates. In case any discrepancy is noticed even at a later point of time after admission, the management reserves the right to cancel the admission and such a decision shall be final and binding on the candidate.

The filled application along with the DD for Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of VFSTR Application Account, payable at Guntur should be sent to the following address so as to reach before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.
