Authorised Centre: The centre has an MoU with Cambridge University Press and Assessments of Cambridge University, London, UK.
Examination Centre: A dedicated and exclusive centre with all infrastructure and facilities to administer round the year English Certification Exams adhering to Cambridge standards.
State-of-the-Art Computer Laboratory: Equipped with modern technology to facilitate training, practice/mock tests and conduct paper-based as well as digital examinations in Linguaskill, B1 Preliminary, and other Cambridge assessments.
Dedicated Knowledge Centre: A specialized library offering a comprehensive collection of Cambridge examination preparation materials, including IELTS, B1 Preliminary, Linguaskill and TOEFL to support student learning.
Certified Speaking Examiners: The Centre is equipped with a cohort of 19 well trained and qualified examiners guided by a Regional Team Leader, Team Leader and Centre Exams Manager to organise, train and certify examiners for various levels of Speaking Assessments ranging from A1 Movers to C1.
Outreach and Extension Services: The Cambridge Centre also offers Training, Assessment and Certification Services to students and teachers of a number of Schools and Colleges in the A.P region.

- 2024 – Signed a new MoU with Cambridge to introduce the Linguaskill examination.
- Cambridge Exemplary Performance Award for the year 2023.
- Cambridge Best Centre of Excellence Award in 2018.
- Organised CELTA training for in-house English faculty to adopt international teaching standards-2017.
- Integrated Cambridge English Language Courses into the UG Curriculum-2015.
- Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge Assessment to conduct Cambridge English certification exams at VFSTR- 2014.
- Introduced English Proficiency Course with B1 Preliminary Certification for first-year Bachelor of Technology students.
- Incorporated B2 - C2 Level (BEC & Linguaskill) English Certification into UG Curriculum for second- and third-year students, aimed at preparing them for the corporate world. ,/li>
- Have been extending Cambridge services to 11 preparation centres affiliated with IN269, VFSTR University.
- So far the Centre has trained and certified:
- 5,000 students at B2 level (Business English) Certification.
- 15,000 students at B1 (Preliminary English) Certification.
- 2,500 school students at A1 to A2 levels.
The Centre Offers: - Linguaskill Training and Certification (B1-C2) enhances students’ ability:
- To communicate effectively in everyday workplace and business contexts.
- To observe the protocols of corporate communication in preparing reports, office memos, Emails etc.
- To make impactful presentations in diverse settings.
- B1 Preliminary Training and Certification Course enhances students:
- Ability to communicate in English for practical everyday purposes like writing letters, mails, participating in peer interactions, sharing opinions and making short presentations.
- Comprehension Skills in Reading and Listening and makes them confident users of the language.
- Overall skill set to explore study, work and travel opportunities globally.
Young Learners English & KEY English Certification for Schools enables students: - To enhance their oral proficiency and conduct their activities in everyday context.
- To develop reading and listening comprehension skills for academic progression.
Teacher Support Programmes: - In 2017, to enhance the faculty resources of the English Department, Cambridge Centre organised CELTA training and Certification for its’ English faculty as a part of the continuous professional development and equipping them to teach in diverse international contexts.
- Hands on workshops are regularly offered to faculty on language pedagogies and materials development.
- Regular interactive sessions with visiting Cambridge delegates helps faculty to keep themselves updated on new trends in language teaching and learning.
