It is an established fact that human behaviour is influenced by the surroundings. The serene atmosphere of a temple has an elevating effect on all of us.

Guided by this fact, meticulous care has been taken in the design of the University campus. The beautifully landscaped campus has green tree lined avenues, lush green lawns, spacious classrooms, open corridors, and large playgrounds. All this creates a pleasant and stress free atmosphere for students to learn and develop.
Convenient locale
Strategically situated on the Guntur-Tenali highway, our institution is a mere 35-kilometre journey from the bustling city of Vijayawada. The location is ideal and has seamless connectivity to all three vibrant towns, Guntur, Tenali, and Vijayawada, through an extensive public transport network.

Our campus is well connected both by railways and airways; the Vijayawada airport is just an hour’s drive from our campus. This airport is a bustling hub, with daily flights connecting to major cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Delhi.

Academic scholarships are awarded to the tune of Rs. 2 crores and are provided to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students who constitute the top 5% of respective branches in the current academic year.

In response to the growing demand for innovative and hybrid technologies, we have introduced courses in emerging areas such as textile engineering, automobile engineering, petroleum engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cyber security, and computer science and business systems, robotics, and automation.
Humanities
For those with aspirations of joining the public service, our Humanities programme provides broad exposure to various subjects, like politics, sociology, economics, history, international relations, and data interpretation, which prepares them for a wide range of career opportunities that involve service to society.

Incubation Centers
Across the world, as well as in India, higher education institutions are striving to motivate engineers not to remain mere job seekers but to evolve into job creators. Vignan offers its students a unique blend of technical skills and management capabilities through opportunities to explore and experiment with their ideas and come up with innovative solutions and products. Students who have entrepreneurial zeal are drawn to the in-house incubator centres, where they are guided and mentored by a team of dedicated and expert faculty members.
Entrepreneurship Development
Students who want to start up are provided initial funding by the university. Regular talks, workshops, symposiums, and conferences inform, encourage, and sharpen budding entrepreneurs to realize their goals. The university also collaborates with the Ministry of Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises, i.e., MSME, Government of India. The annual E-fest and Idea Carnival hosted by the university attract several business models, and the Business Skill Development Programme (BSDP), in partnership with the MSME, enables our young minds to further hone their entrepreneurial skills.

Focus on UPSC
The university has a unique B.Tech. + Civil Services Programme in its first year itself. The programme prepares students to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination alongside their engineering courses. On successful completion, students would earn a minor degree in the humanities. More importantly, the programme aims at preparing civil servants who can explore opportunities to serve the nation by joining public services.
The goal of the programme is to enable at least five to ten youngsters to qualify for coveted positions every year. Vignan has several illustrious alumni in IAS, IES, IFS, etc. The 5th ranker of UPSC, Mr. A. Sridhar Babu, for the year 2007, is one such alumni. After serving as the District Collector of Uttarakhand, he is currently serving as Director, Tobacco Board, Guntur, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
Training for an extra edge
Campus Recruitment Training (CRT)
A 200-hour programme that offers rigorous training and learning opportunities to students aspiring for campus placements. The programme covers training on quantitative ability, verbal ability, reasoning skills, soft skills, and mock interview sessions conducted by both in-house and external experts.
Win-Win tie-ups with Industry
The university has MoUs with industry for curriculum development, collaborative R&D, and training students and faculty members. The university has MoUs for student internships with VEDA IIT, Virchow, ZOHO, Hetero Biopharma Limited, Nova Agri Tech Limited, and Korea Tech.

Vignan also collaborates with FACE, ITC, etc. to provide better placements and internships in software and core areas and has been accredited by TCS.
A Rich Repository for Learning
NTR Library
The NTR Vignan Library stocks more than 112633 volumes, examination papers, and books for research, as well as plenty of audio and visual material, in addition to the 280 national-referenced journals. Also available are preparation materials for GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, GATE, etc.

Each department has its own library to serve as a quick reference center. The department library holds around 400 books, journals, project reports, recorded lectures, etc. for advanced learning.

Every student gets access to our institutional LMS. This robust platform offers a wealth of digital content, including videos, PowerPoint presentations, assignments, quizzes, forums, Virtual Programming Labs (VPL), and much more.
