Socio-Economically Disadvantage Groups Cell (SEDG)
Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Group (SEDG) Cells are specialized units within organizations, often educational institutions, aimed at supporting individuals from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Their primary goal is to ensure equitable access to resources, opportunities, and support services.

Key functions of SEDG Cells include:
  • Providing Academic Support: Offering tutoring, mentoring, and counseling to help students succeed academically.
  • Financial Assistance: Facilitating scholarships, grants, and other financial aid options to alleviate economic burdens.
  • Career Guidance: Assisting with job placements, internships, and career development workshops.
  • Community Engagement: Organizing events and programs to foster a sense of belonging and community among disadvantaged groups.

By focusing on these areas, SEDG Cells aim to level the playing field and promote inclusivity and diversity within the organization.
