Healthy Numbers, Healthy You
In response to the rise in health issues, the NSS of Department of Biomedical Engineering, organized a health care campaign at Vejandla on 23rd January 2025. We created awareness about the importance of "Healthy Numbers, Healthy You", emphasizing the role of key health indicators like blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and BMI in overall well-being. Through health check-up camps, educational workshops, and social media campaigns, we encouraged individuals to monitor their health regularly and adopt a balanced lifestyle. By promoting nutritious eating, regular exercise, and preventive healthcare, we empowered people to take charge of their health and prevent lifestyle-related diseases. Our efforts aimed to highlight that maintaining healthy numbers leads to a healthier, happier life.

Plastic Free Future
We the team UEAC of biomedical branch has conducted the event about Reduced plastic usage in chebrolu, Guntur on 23rd January 2025. We created awareness for a plastic-free future through educational campaigns, community clean-up drives, and workshops, encouraging people to reduce plastic usage and adopt sustainable alternatives. By leveraging social media, organizing awareness rallies, and promoting biodegradable solutions, we inspired individuals and organizations to take action. Our efforts aimed to highlight the environmental impact of plastic waste and drive positive change toward a cleaner, greener planet. By engaging schools, colleges, and local communities, we encouraged individuals to adopt eco-friendly habits such as using reusable bags, avoiding single-use plastics, and supporting biodegradable alternatives.

Industrial Visit - JVS Electronics
In the afternoon, we visited JVS Electronics, a Bangalore-based company involved in designing, developing, and manufacturing embedded power system protection, automation, and control products. Their primary focus is on developing relays that ensure the safety of electrical equipment. JVS Electronics’ work in providing high-quality solutions for power protection showcased how embedded systems are critical for ensuring equipment safety in industrial settings.

WOMEN HEALTH &SAFETY
We the team UEAC of biomedical branch has conducted the event aboutWOMEN HEALTH &SAFETY in Angalakuduru village on 06-october-2023. The main aim of the event is to spread awareness about women’s safety and strength. Because ignorance towards such things can cost in lifetime traumas or even losing someone. So, let’s create a safe environment for everyone together. Our NSS section coordinators and chief coordinators and volunteers conducted awareness camp on women’s health and safety.
NSS team went to their houses and told them about the importance of women health and safety “Women's safety involves strategies, practices and policies which aim to reduce gender-based violence (or violence against women), including women's fear of crime. Women's safety involves safe spaces. Space is not neutral.” Around 15 people attended the camp. Our UEAC team members including section and chief organisers and coordinators and some volunteers gathered in college. The event started by 11:30 PM by gathering the people. Finally, event completed at 2:00PM.

Road Accidents
In response to the rise in accidents, the Team UEAC of Department of Biomedical Engineering, organized a Road Safety Awareness Campaign at Suddapalli on 1st October 2024. This initiative underscored UEAC’s commitment to social responsibility and community service.
Volunteers provided crucial guidance on road safety, highlighting the importance of obeying traffic rules, never driving under the influence, avoiding mobile phone use while driving, and wearing helmets and seat belts. They also emphasized maintaining vehicles, checking their condition before long trips, crossing roads safely, and keeping speed limits under 60 km/h. The program aimed not only to promote immediate safety practices but also to foster a collective responsibility between students and the community.
The event ran from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with 10 NSS student volunteers from the Department of Biomedical Engineering actively participating. The campaign positively impacted the local residents, who appreciated the essential safety tips shared. The session concluded on a high note, with the community expressing gratitude for the volunteers' dedication.

Health and Hygiene
On 1st October 2024, the Team UEAC from the Department of Biomedical Engineering conducted a Health & Hygiene Awareness Campaign at Suddapalli. This initiative highlighted UEAC’s dedication to community service and its commitment to fostering social responsibility.
The volunteers emphasized important health practices, such as washing hands before meals, maintaining a balanced diet, avoiding junk food, and exercising daily. They also advised the community to walk at least 5 km daily, avoid ice cream during the rainy season, and focus on both personal and environmental hygiene. Proper waste disposal and keeping surroundings clean were also key points of the awareness session. This initiative not only aimed at improving health standards but also at building a sense of unity and shared responsibility between students and the community.
The program, held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, saw the participation of 10 dedicated volunteers who contributed to making a positive impact on the community’s well-being.

Project Expo during Srujanaka 2K24
The Project Expo, hosted by VFSTR on 15th September, the Biomedical Engineering students showcased a variety of innovative healthcare projects focused on improving future health solutions. The projects included wearable health monitors, rehabilitation devices, and advanced diagnostic systems, all designed to address current medical challenges with the application of engineering principles. Students actively engaged with their peers, faculty, and visitors, explaining their work in detail and demonstrating the real-world potential of their solutions. The event was attended by esteemed guests, Dr. H. G. Chandrashekar and Prof. M. Venkateshwarlu, who expressed their admiration for the students' creativity, technical expertise, and the significant impact their innovations could have on the healthcare industry. The expo served as a platform for students to gain valuable feedback and showcase their ability to apply technology for the betterment of healthcare, making it a successful and impactful event.

GENDER SENSITIZATION & CERVICAL CANCER AWARENESS
We BME student under the guidance of Dr. Usha rani mam and Jalaja mam with the permission of department we have started by our college buses with the lots of books, colour pencils, sketches and the food we needed with the well-prepared presentations and required pen drives and projectors successfully started by 9 ‘o’clock from college. In prior we got splatted into groups by merging with other departments and went to different schools. In this part we BME students went to 3 different schools, J. Prem Latha, M. Thanmaye. D. Vineela went to Jilla parishath school Lakkaraju Garlapadu, Andhrapradesh on the date of 30th September,2024. .
The awareness in this school had completed with well cooperated staff, one hour Awareness regarding cancer awareness and one hour regarding gender sensitization with different activities stories real time situations applications etc., finally students interacted with us regarding school situation and our awareness. Another 2 members P.Vasanthi, K.Dhanushya sree with other 2 members from another department went to Jilla parishath school, Venna devi, Andhra Pradesh on the same date that is 30th September 2023. .
The awareness in this school had completed with well cooperated staff, one hour r Awareness regarding cancer awareness and one hour regarding gender sensitization with different activities stories real time situations applications etc., finally students interacted with us regarding school situation and our awareness. Another student from BME department N.Lavanya with another department students went to Madela, jilla parishath school on the same date, 30th September 2013. .
The awareness in this school had completed with well cooperated staff, one hour r Awareness regarding cancer awareness and one hour regarding gender sensitization with different activities stories real time situations applications etc., finally students interacted with us regarding school situation and our awareness. Again, under the guidance of Dr. Usha Rani mam and Jalaja mam on the date 7th october 2023 again we have divided into batches as same as day 1 we have started little bit earlier than Day 1 from college and carried all the stuff needed for regarding cancer awareness and gender awareness campaign. .
In this part P. Vasanthi, K. Dhanushya sree, V. Shreya sree went to Jilla parishath school in Dodleru, near sattenapalle guntur. The second day of cancer awareness and gender awareness campaign has given us a wonderful experience by rectifying our 1st day errors, interacting with the students of government school and its environment and it brought up our communication skills and leadership skills by leading our team and completing the task with in the time which built our time management skills. This really gave us a good experience with lots of knowledge and management skills.
