Awareness Program on NABL Accreditation (29-04-2026) OFFLINE, NO FEE REGISTRATION
The Department of Civil Engineering, Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), is organizing an Awareness Program on NABL Accreditation in association with the Quality Council of India (QCI). This program is designed to provide comprehensive insights into ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and the process of achieving NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation. It aims to enhance the quality, reliability, and competence of laboratory testing and calibration facilities. Participants will gain valuable knowledge on: NABL accreditation procedures and requirements Laboratory quality management systems Best practices for improving testing accuracy and reliability Compliance with national and international standards The session will be delivered by an experienced resource person from NABL, offering practical guidance and real-world applications to help institutions upgrade their laboratory standards. Although the majority of our civil engineering students go on to work or pursue higher studies, we also offer assistance to individuals who want to start their own business in the industry. A small but growing number of graduates, around 1%, pursue entrepreneurial ventures or become consultants. These graduates leverage their technical expertise to start their businesses or offer specialized consultancy services to existing firms.

Some establish their own company by providing the plans and designs of structures, construction works, and start-ups. Others provide consultancy services in areas like surveying, quality control, and other testing of materials. Government schemes and start-up incubation centres also offer support and funding for those looking to launch their ventures in the civil domain.
