The Central Library at Vignan's University, inaugurated in 2005 by the then Coal and Mines Minister, Sri Dasari Narayana Rao, offers a user-friendly and comfortable environment. Spanning approximately 2,951 sqm, the air-conditioned facility is aesthetically designed with modern furniture, indoor greenery, and reprographic conveniences. It features separate spaces for individual and group study. Open daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM, the library provides access to a wide range of resources, including a rich collection of titles and journals for general study and research, beyond curriculum-specific books.
Ground Floor
The ground floor covers about 1,500 sqm and includes a lounge for relaxed reading, a textbook reference section, and a stock area containing books from all departments, theses, question papers, and journal back volumes. Separate display racks showcase national and international print journals, magazines, and newspapers. The circulation section manages over 1,000 issues, renewals, and returns daily, with more than 1,100 students and staff utilizing library services. The library is equipped with an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) system for quick and easy searches by users.
