The continuous evaluation consists of periodic tests, mid tests, assignments, presentations and report writing thus covering both quantitative and qualitative techniques. This continuous comprehensive evaluation helps the student to effectively learn and demonstrate the course content. The institute regularly updates its evaluation methods, to realize the objectives of outcome based education. The steps taken to ensure quality, transparency and confidentiality are on par with the best practices adopted by premier institutions in the country.

    Welcome to the School of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering!

    It’s my great honour and privilege to serve as dean of this school and to extend a warm greeting to you all on behalf of faculty, staff, and students. The School of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering consistently and competently drives towards excellence through our Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Bio-Medical Engineering. We, in our school work with a strong emphasis on the holistic development of a student, the School of Electrical and Electronics grooms the multidisciplinary powers of the students and enhances their skill set by providing hands-on training, workshops, and research in the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning, biomedical signal and image processing, biomedical instrumentation, VLSI Design, Power Electronics, Electric vehicles, Embedded systems, Contemporary Wireless Communication, Wind Energy, nanotechnology, and 5G Communications. The School has CoE in RF & MW developed antennas various applications, state-of-the art laboratories in almost all the frontiers Electronics and, Communication and Biomedical engineering. It also has the latest simulation tools in its laboratories to cater various specializations like VLSI, MEMs, Comsol physics and is equipped with facilities for measurement, and synthesis of experimental as well as theoretical results.

    Our school has developed drones for agriculture applications. Combined expertise of staff and students of our school has resulted in research projects sponsored by government and R&D organizations. Excellent infrastructure, expert faculty members and enthusiastic students have also made remarkable contributions in product development, patents and paper publications.

    It opens a wide spectrum of opportunities for placement in dream companies not only limited to his area of study. It is evident in the consistent placement record of over 85% every year in every department of the school.

    Welcome to the School of Computing and Informatics!!! It is my distinct honor to serve as the Dean of such an amazing and exciting place, and along with all our faculty and staff we welcome you to our school. The School currently houses three academic departments namely, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Advanced Computer Science and Engineering, and Department of Information Technology.

    It is my goal everyday to lead the School of Computing and Informatics towards an unmatched commitment to student success, the pursuit of research discoveries, and to support of our stake holders. In addition to our vibrant programs, many of our students participate in cocurricular activities and extracurricular activities including programming contests, project competitions, internships, and faculty directed research projects.

    Demand for computing graduates is high, with more employment opportunities in computer and information technology. The School of Computing and Informatics is positioned to help meet that demand. Our graduates are well prepared to take on these challenging roles.

    We have introduced Project Based Learning approach to enable students gain in-depth concepts in the chosen area of their study. The curriculum is meticulously designed with projects arising from a combination of different courses (intra disciplinary projects), projects from different departments (inter-departmental) and Societal Centric projects from I to IV year of the program in addition to a semesterlong industry internship. Also, emphasis is placed on credits for physical fitness, sports and games. All the aforementioned salient features have successfully fortified our curriculum which enables higher percentage of placements and improve opportunities to pursue higher education in premier institutes in India and abroad. The office of International Affairs facilitates international exchange programs for aspiring students to pursue their internship in premier universities abroad.

    The Student Welfare Committee (SWC) helps the students in academic, emotional and psychological progression. The IAS Academy, E-cell and GATE Academy trains students to crack national level competitive exams. This is aimed at helping students to become entrepreneurs, to grab employment opportunities available in the public sector as well as plan for post-graduate studies and research.
