  • Dr.Avireni Srinivasulu, professor of the ECE department was invited for guest lecture on "VLSI TECHNOLOGY" in Universal College of Engineering and Technology at Dokiparru, Medikonduru Mandal, Guntur. He attended and delivered it on 29th August 2012 for both morning and afternoon sessions.

  • Prof. Ravi Sankar Chandu, Deputy director, Academics gave a lecture on "Learning in Engineering" on 30th August 2012 at National Institute Of Technology, Warangal. It is a NPTEL NIMCET sponsored faculty orientation program. 400 faculty members participated from all over India.

    Change in the Attitude of the students   

    Before sending the students into the industry, most of the students are not have an idea how to behave an employ in the industry, how to behave with their colleagues, punctuality, time sense, seriousness in the work. Based on the feedback given by the company people, examiners, faculty and campus recruitment people, we understood that the attitude of the students should be changed.


    Industrial Outlook of the students   

    First and most importantly, an internship gives practical experience that allows learning from the company and its employees. Additionally, an internship can give:

  • Close dialogue and cooperation with a company

  • Opportunities to test your theoretical knowledge in real life situations

  • Knowledge of business life specifically regarding work methods and processes

  • An option to put your education into perspective according to the job market

  • Relevant experience added to your CV

  • Extension of your business network

  • Potential contacts who can help you get future jobs or cooperation on projects

    • The outcomes of an Internship can be analyzed into three categories.   

    1. Technology and Analytical Learning Outcomes

  • Developing a technical artefact requiring new technical skills.

  • Using profession specific terminology appropriately.

  • Effectively utilizing a new software tool to complete a task.

  • Creating training materials.

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting technology.

  • Analyzing or visualizing data to create information.

  • Writing requirements documentation.

  • Selecting appropriate technologies.

  • Acquiring and evaluating information.

  • Creating or modifying technology policies.

  • Performing effective and informative user testing.

  • Identifying and creating appropriate test cases for systems.
