During Institutional Training, some of the Cadets are selected to undergo the rigorous military training in attachment with regular Army training Centres, National Integration Camps etc.

The Cadets are encouraged to complete the "B" and "C" certificate examinations and also encouraged to take up career in Armed forces like Army, Navy and Air Force.
