The Department offers skill-based engineering curriculum and primary focus of the curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students with hands-on training in the laboratories, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The course contents are periodically updated based on the feedback received from stakeholders and providing opportunities to both the faculty and students to undertake new scientific and technological challenges. Accordingly, at present the project based curriculum is implemented for the students of the Department.

      The Department maintains active research by encouraging faculty and students to carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state of the art research facilities to support our academic programs and research. Funding for research help us to maintain and modernize our research infrastructure in order to produced good quality journal publications.
