The "World Pharmacists Day" was conducted by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences on 25th Sep'19. The International Pharmaceutical Fedaration (FIP) Congress, in Istanbul, Turkey designated 25th September as annual World Pharmacist Day in 2009, and is followed every year. Pharmacist is the only professional who relates the use of drugs in the patients and has a better understanding about the condition of the patient and the mechanism of action of the drugs and can ensure effective treatment was opinioned by the speakers.
National Service Scheme, (NSS) was launched in 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges and Universities working for a campus-community especially in villages. NSS day is celebrated on 24th September in every year.

He is held in high regard as a pre-eminent engineer in India. This event is organized to create awareness for students and faculty on role of engineers in the development of our Nation.

The purpose of the Fresher's Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the Vignan's family and get ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. On the eve of Engineers day a national level civil workshop was conducted at VFSTR on "Recent Trends in Civil Engineering-2019" JSW cements south India Head Mr Hari Prasad Rao was the chief guest for the program, initially the workshop was commenced with Jyothi lightening.

The 7th annual convocation of Vignan Foundation for Science Technology and Research was held on 27/07/2019 at vadlamudi campus Guntur. A 3-Day Faculty Development Program on Cyber Security, Crypt Analysis and security for Physical Infrastructure sponsored by DST (ICPS) organized by Department of Information Technology.The first session started with the plenary speech by Dr.R.K.ShyamSundar,Professor, Department of CSE,IIT Bombay. He gave a speech on “Cyber Security: Future Challenges”. He enlightened the participants with his speech and he created interest among the participants. He also discussed how privacy is different from Confidentiality, Applications of Cyber Security, AI and Cyber Security, Data Governance.
Career Advancement Scheme (CAS)-2019 interviews were conducted successfully on 01.06.2019 to promote eligible faculty members to the next cadre. A total of 21 applications from various disciplines or departments were received. A preliminary screening committee headed with Rector as Chairman, scrutinized the applicants eligibility as per UGC rules and regulations 2018 guidelines and identified nine applicants suitable for representation before final selection committee (CAS committee) on 01.06.2019
The core objective of the workshop was to equip the participants with set of skills and potentiality to undertake the research very effectively in the disciplines of social science and to turn completed research into publishable material of high quality in the form of thesis, articles, and journals.
